Improving Trauma Care Worldwide
RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
We are now accepting research abstracts to be considered for poster presentations at the 2026 ITLS Annual Meeting & Conference. The Conference will be held October 5-7, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
This year, the Research Forum will feature an exciting new format.
Selected abstract authors will present their work during a dedicated general-session slot, giving all ITLS 2026 Annual Meeting & Conference attendees the opportunity to hear their findings.

We are looking for timely, thought-provoking research projects that aim to improve trauma care and are relevant to the following audiences: EMTs, paramedics, critical care providers, emergency nurses and physicians, EMS medical directors and educators, administrators, and managers.
The Research Forum is open to all pre-hospital and hospital-based providers to present a poster presentation on trauma research. All abstracts will be considered, even if previously presented at other meetings.
Judges will present an “Excellence in Research” Award to the investigator/author of the winning abstract.
Deadline is Friday, September 4, 2026 at 4:30 PM Central Time.
Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
All abstracts should be completed using the ITLS Research Abstract Submission Form. This form may be duplicated for additional submissions.
