We are excited to share that the 1st edition ITLS for the Emergency Care Provider Online Instructor Update course is now available. Additionally, the instructor materials are now available to ITLS Chapters and Training Centres to begin offering the 1st edition provider courses taught by instructors who have completed the 1st edition instructor update course. Details for these opportunities are below.
Online 1st Edition ITLS for the Emergency Care Provider Instructor Update

New for the 1st Edition Instructor Update
- Upon completing the online instructor update, attendees must provide a copy of their course completion certificate to their chapter coordinator. This is done to verify that chapter teaching requirements have been fulfilled as part of 1st edition instructor update requirements. Once requirements have been verified, chapters will issue 1st Edition Instructor Update Recertification cards.
- For chapter coordinators, the 1st Edition Instructor Update has been added to the CMS system for enrollment and issuing of 1st Edition Instructor Update Course Completion certificates. This information can be located on the course roster page under the CAPCE Course Number column.
