ITLS Mourns the Loss of Tony Cellitti
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) is saddened to learn about the passing of long-time volunteer, friend, and colleague, Anthony Cellitti, A.A.S, NRP, OSFM ATF, better known to our ITLS Family as Tony.
Tony devoted countless hours of service to a variety of roles within the ITLS organization including the ITLS Board of Directors, committees, teaching courses, and programs, as well as being very active within his own ITLS Illinois Chapter. Tony was a great ambassador for ITLS as he was the first to welcome newcomers and make them feel part of our family.
He leaves an incredible mark on our organization and the lives of all ITLS members, students, volunteers, staff, and supporters over the years.
Tony exemplified the true spirit of ITLS and what it stands for including a passion for education and training to improve trauma care worldwide.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Tony’s family, colleagues, and friends all over the world during this difficult time.
We are grateful for his enduring legacy of kindness, compassion, leadership, and humor.
