1. Log on to www.itrauma.org/eTrauma to purchase ITLS eTrauma for $132
2. Get your access code in the mail with the course textbook, ITLS for Prehospital Care Providers, and instructions for accessing ITLS eTrauma online. You'll have access to ITLS eTrauma for 1 year from the date of your first login.
3. Start with Lesson 1: Scene Size-Up and work through all 13 lessons.
Each lesson includes about 30 screens of reading material and activities to enhance learning.
4. Take a 10-question Lesson Quiz at the completion of each lesson. A score of 70 percent or higher is required to complete the lesson and "unlock" access to the next quiz.
5. Print your Course Completion Certificate for 8 hours of CECBEMS continuing education credit once you successfully complete all 13 lessons.
6. Want to become ITLS certified? Take a Completer Course.
The Completer Course is an in-person course that features 8 hours of hands-on skills station demonstration, practice, and testing, plus the Written Exam required for ITLS Basic or Advanced Provider certification. You'll earn your ITLS Provider certification and card, as well as 8 additional hours of CECBEMS credit.
